Pineapple Agua Fresca

Jump to Recipe·Print Recipe

Pineapple Agua Fresca:

Today is the first day of summer! Although it is raining here in Indiana, I was in a summer kind of mood?. I have been dying to make this Pineapple Agua Fresca, luckily enough, I just so happen to have all the ingredients.

The reason I have the ingredients is because I have been obsessed with shopping at costco! it’s so dangerous, but yet I get to have delicious fruit on hand. Pineapple is one of my favorite fruits and I ALWAYS have limes on hand?. I love making so many variations of this recipe, sometimes I add coconut milk instead of coconut water. Occasionally, I will add rum….ok more than occasionally :). Then, there are just those days you want to treat yo self! I was at my sisters how when I made this so bonus!, I was able to share it with my sister and introduce it to my niece. She will forever be a fan now.

All you need is pineapple, lime, coconut water (I like using coconut water, but regular water is the traditional way). Also, I like using agave nectar while sugar is the traditional way as well. Lastly, ice! That’s it, so easy.

Tip: If you would like a smoother consistency, after you blend the pineapple, send it through a strainer or sieve.

Enjoy!
