Corona Cocktail

Jump to Recipe·Print Recipe

This Corona cocktail recipe is sure to chase away your winter blues. The cocktail tastes similar to a summer shandy but doesn’t hold back on the alcohol.

Corona Cocktail

My husband and I enjoy our Friday night cocktails. A Nice refreshing cocktail after a long week, a chance to really catch up and re-connect. We had some left over Corona bottles and grapefruit juice and we just decided to try making a summer drink in winter. I am so glad we did! The outcome tastes like summer and helps chase those winter blues away.

Don’t let this refreshing drink fool you, it is strong! It has both tequila and beer along with grapefruit juice, sprite and lime juice. It reminds me of a summer shandy beer and is so good. A shandy beer is a beer that is mixed with some type of carbonated drink, whether it be a fruit soda or ginger beer. Where this drink differs is the added tequila!  You won’t be able to taste a bit of it though. This cocktail can be dangerous but it is so refreshing and such a fun way to enjoy beer.

Mix together all of the ingredients and then sit back and pretend your somewhere very very warm. Try our new taco wings recipe to go with these drinks!
