Super Easy Winter Tart


Check out this super easy tart inspired by Curtis Stone’s cookbook Good Food, Good Life. A must try for any party or gathering.


  • For the Tart:
  • 1 large Orange
  • 1/4 cup of cranberries
  • cinnamon for coating cranberries
  • 1 9×9 inch sheet of frozen pastry puff
  • 1/2 cup of orange marmalade
  • For the Rosemary Whipped Cream:
  • 3/4 cup of heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tablespoon of powdered sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon of minced fresh rosemary


  1. For the Tart:
  2. Pre-heat oven to 425 Degrees
  3. Slice one large Orange thinly and remove any rind
  4. Wash fresh cranberries and still slightly wet, sprinkle cinnamon over cranberries to coat
  5. Once puff pastry is not frozen but still cold, brush with orange marmalade
  6. Make sure to leave one inch free around the edges
  7. Add one layer of your orange and place cranberries in sparse open places
  8. Brush again with marmalade
  9. Bake for 20 minutes- check on bake 10 minutes in and brush any juices to the edges to get a browning affect.
  10. For the Cream:
  11. Add cream, rosemary and powdered sugar to a mixing bowl and mix until whipped.
